I ended up using Dan’s original coding from the Goose technology and changed the design aspect of it. I changed it into a fall scenerio with tons of fall leaves fallen on the ground. There were some leaves that could be picked up (with the mouse) and thrown into a recycling bin to recycle fall leaves.

I found this technology quite intriguing and mesmerizing once you get involved the adequate design and proper coding. It is amazing what it can do. I would definitely love to see this technology put on a game with a multi-user touch. Thats the new era of technology now days. It reminds me of a “Minority Report” game, obviously there would be much more complicated coding would be involved. But I think it has great potential. Or it reminds me of a crazy computer hacking game where two people are tryign to solve a mystery.  I think with a bit a imagination, this technology can expanded and it would be success.

Using the Ostrich Flash design was quite easy to recreate or to expand on it. Ostrich technology gives the us the opportunity to expand on our vast knowledge by using a simple camera. I personally worked with the Fairy Capture Motion file. This was one of the easiest and simplest designs I found. The reason why I picked this file was because I was new to Flash’s action script file. Therefore, I found that editing on the Fairy file would be easy to work around.

I changed the background of the Fairy file with a sunflower background. I have also added 2 clocks turning clockwise and counterclockwise. It was a random add on I’ve decided to do. Afterward, I’ve changed the fairy to an animated butterfly. I’ve decided to add a second butterfly following any motion. However, it was not the greatest method to copy and paste the same codes from the fairy. This was because both butterflies were joined together and was not eye catching, rather annoying. When it comes to coding, I have not c hanged much within the Fairy file. Ive added a similar copy of the fairy motion and added some sound into it.

Overall, I found that working with the Fairy file was quite fun, especially in the design aspect. This was because I was able to easily change the background and the butterflies. It was fun to work with colors, timeline and drawing. When it comes AS3 part, it was not the greatest experience because I was still new at it. I was still trying to get used to the aspect of coding. I found that throughout the most part of the coding, I was scared to change the coding because I thought it would be a big disaster and that I would get lost. But more that I have tried to work around with codes, the easier I found to change it.
